Joah Bingert is a Twin Cities based multimedia artist with a primary focus on fiber art. By combining material and techniques, he uses texture to explore themes such as mental health, disability, identity, acceptance, and the natural world.

As a queer, autistic person who grew up in East Tennessee, Joah draws inspiration from his interaction with self, nature, and society.

Joah’s artistic training includes coursework at the University of Minnesota and a variety of workshops.

He is a practicing artist at Fresh Eye Arts, a progressive art studio in St. Paul, and his work has been featured in several group exhibitions.

Through his art, Joah seeks to encourage reflection and transformation.
